Doris Edler Munster passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at the age of 89. Born on September 27, 1934 to the late Walter E. Edler and Rose Schmitz Edler. Sister of Edward A. Edler Sr. (late Betty), the late Walter A. Edler (late Myrtle) and the late Sterling Edler. Wife of the late Elvin F. Munster Sr. Mother of Elvin F. Munster Jr. (Cheryl) and Kathleen Palmisano (Lewar). Grandmother of Jared E. Munster (Brandon), Alex Munster, Amber Munster, Angelique Mann (Victor) and Bryan Palmisano (Angela). Great-Grandmother of Ethan Munster-Robb and Alyvia Palmisano. A memorial mass will be held for both Doris and Elvin Sr. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5122 W. Esplanade Ave, Metairie on December 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer and Dementia research.
