Dorothy Mae Allen, 70, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 9:23 am. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Allen, Sr. Daughter of the late Robert and Dora Morgan. Mother of Shelia Greenlee, (David), Lawrence, Jr. (Cheleta), Angela King, (Glen), Diasele Billy, (Saki), Michael Allen, Terry Allen, Shawna Jones, (Don), Leslie Allen and Wayne Allen, (Tomica). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 4 great granddaughters, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 4 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law. Preceded in death by 3 brothers. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 11:00 am at Branch Bell Baptist Church, 1231 St. Maurice Avenue, New Orleans, La.
