Dorothy "Dottie" Ann Gerzevske Malter

Dorothy “Dottie” Ann Gerzevske Malter entered into heaven on Friday, May 20, 2011, surrounded by loving family and friends. Devoted wife of Donald R. Malter, Jr. of 45 years. Loving mother of Denise M. Gallagher (Donald) and Dorina M. O’Connor (Jon). Proud grandmother of Zachary & Oliver Gallagher and Gabrielle O’Connor. Daughter of Alice Ihlow Gerzevske and the late Erich Gerzevske. Sister of Bernard, Luverne, Janet, Marie, Linda and the late Harland and Phyllis.

Age 68, a native of Fairbault, Minnesota and a resident of Kenner. Dottie was a retired Kindergarten School Teacher, who dedicated her 38 years of teaching at Atonement Lutheran School.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until funeral time. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory to Atonement Lutheran Kindergarten Technology Fund, 6500 Riverside Dr., Metairie, LA 70003.
