She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Piazza and Bertha Boye Piazza; her husband, Vincent Lawrence Lima; one brother, Salvadore Charles Piazza Sr. and two sisters, Antonia (Toni) Piazza Venturella and Florabell Piazza Cavignac (Mickey).
Elizabeth built a life centered on faith and family. A devoted Catholic, she was a faithful parishioner of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church until its closure, and later became a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and a member of the Young at Heart group at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Her faith remained an important part of who she was throughout her life.
She was a loving mother to her son, Sam Vincent Lima, and daughter, Debra Lima Celestin Dunham. Her greatest joy was being “Maw-Maw” and later “Great Maw-Maw.” She was the proud grandmother of one grandson, Carey Carter Celestin Jr. (Katie), and the great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren, Parker Elizabeth Celestin and Graham Patrick Celestin, who brought tremendous happiness to her.
In her later years, she found joy in playing bingo and completing endless word search puzzles, but her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family. Her children, grandson, and great-grandchildren were her life's greatest blessings.
For almost a century, she touched the lives of everyone around her and remained devoted to her family and her faith. She leaves behind a legacy of deep and unwavering love for her family that will continue to guide us always.
