Mrs. Ella Ruth Ruth Owen Laurent

Ella Ruth Laurent passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Sidney Louis Laurent. Beloved mother of Thomas Owen Laurent and wife Cindi, Barbara Laurent Holliday and husband Jerry, Beverly Laurent Lively and husband Dale, Richard Louis Laurent and wife Denise, James W. Laurent and John Laurent. Sister of Mary Richardson, Opal Pinasky, William Owen, Jr. and the late Hugh Owen. Daughter of the late Anna H. and William R. Owen, Sr. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was a former employee of South Central Bell Telephone Company and the State of Louisiana; a member of Eastern Star, Farhad Grotto Ladies Auxiliary and the Al Azar Grotto Ladies Auxiliary Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel of Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, in Metairie.
