Ellen Pearce

Ellen Schwab Pearce, age 87, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Otha T. Pearce. Loving mother of Harlon Pearce, Jr. (Sharon), James Pearce (Peggy) and Steven Pearce (Nancy). Grandmother of Deborah, Randy, Stephanie, Kevin, Ryan, Olivia, Sara, Sam and Kenny and the late Melinda and great grandmother of nine. Preceded in death by her parents, Elise Fossier Schwab and Dominique Schwab; her siblings, Alma Cook, Cornelia Krey and Dominique Schwab. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Mrs. Pearce was a native of New Orleans, a resident of Mandeville for the past 10 years and a longtime resident of Jefferson.

A special thanks is extended to the nurses and staffs of Heritage Manor and St. Catherine’s Hospice for their compassionate care.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
