Gerald F. Hahn

Gerald F. Hahn passed away peacefully with his immediate family by his side on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Joel Guillot Hahn, loving father of Angie Hahn Albrecht and Brad Joseph Hahn, and adored Paul W. Albrecht (son-in-law) and Ronald V. Hahn (brother). He loved his extended Ragusa and Guillot families. Son of the late Frank C. Hahn and Lena Ragusa Hahn. Born in New Orleans, grew up in the 9th Ward, and lived in Harahan since 1974. Graduated from Holy Cross High School and Northeast Louisiana University. He was a pharmacist for 40 years and served in the Louisiana National Guard for 6 years. He was an avid Saints, LSU, and sports fan and enjoyed cooking and a good meal. He loved his neighbors, friends, fellow pharmacists, and FDDC. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday morning, July 30, 2016 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
