

Gladys was a seamstress for D.H. Holmes and Maison Blanche for many years. She was a devoted homemaker and dedicated her life to caring for and supporting her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maurice G. Cazalot; her parents, Elias and Justina Scampini; her sisters, Elda Barrantes and Olga Scampini; and her grandson, Christopher Guillot.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia LeBlanc (Ray) and Lorraine Guillot (Paul Brehm); her grandchildren, Michael Guillot (Kelli) and Ryan LeBlanc: her great-grandchildren, William and Emersyn Guillot; her sister, Mercedes Richardson (Robert); and her nephew, William Barrantes (Irene).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Friday morning, February 13, 2026 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
