Guy Dauphin

Guy Hugh Dauphin, age 72 passed away on Wednesday May 18, 2011 at home with his family at his side. He was an avid fisherman and most of all a devoted, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Theda DeShazo Dauphin and Norman Matthew Dauphin; his son Guy Dauphin, Jr.; and his brother Norman Matthew Dauphin, Jr. He is survived by his wife, of 44 years, LeeAnn Petit Dauphin; his daughter Gay Dauphin; his sons Greg Dauphin and Troy Dauphin; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; his brother Larry William Dauphin; many nieces, nephews and friends, and his favorite aunt Paula Dauphin.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Saturday May 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
