Harry J. Lange

Harry James Lange, age 77, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, May 20, 2022. He was born in New Orleans and was raised in Madisonville, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Stanley and Emily Heisser Lange, sister Sheila (Don) Nelson, brother, Desmond (Leslie) Lange, Sr., mother and father-in-law, Charles and Betty Barre Frank, sister-in-law, Joy Frank Myrick, and brother-in-law, Ramsey Frank.

Harry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 52 years, Charlotte Frank Lange, son Lance, daughter Lauren, grandchildren, Lance and Nia, siblings, Barbara Lange LeFrere, Jerry (Mary) Lange, Kathy Lange (Pierre) Fabre, Bryant "Nicky" (Donna) Lange, Dionne Lange (Bernard) Crochet, Farrell Lange, sisters-in-law, Paula Frank (Harley) Smith, and Jane Frank (James) Harvey, brothers-in-law, Keefe (LaCita) Frank, Michael Frank, and Lee Frank, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Harry was a Carpenter by trade and proudly served his country in the Army National Guard for six years. He loved deer hunting, watching the Saints and LSU football games, golfing, and old Western movies. He enjoyed going to the opera with his wife and daughter. But most of all, he enjoyed getting together for family lunches and dinners. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A private Memorial Service was held on Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home.
