Herbert "Mickey" James Judge Jr.

Herbert was born in New Orleans on August 19, 1957, and was a resident of New Orleans for most of his life, residing in Folsom for the last 13 years. He graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1976.

Herbert married the love of his life Denise on November 26, 1980; they shared 45 incredible years, 2 children and several grandchildren together.

Herbert worked in the maritime industry for several years, until injury in 2005.

Herbert was preceded in death by his father Herbert J. Judge and mother Anna Mae Judge and his sister Patricia Bergeron.

Herbert is survived by his loving wife, Denise B Judge; their children Amanda Judge Dauss (Ryan) and Christopher M Judge (Louisa): grandchildren Brandon Judge, Devlin Pena, Emily Graffagnini, Jahxon Jemmontt, Emilia Gunsett, and Daenerys Jemmontt; niece Andria Hindman (Timothy) and great nieces Lainey and Madison Hindman; Brother-in-law Dale Bergeron; Lifelong friend Frank Matto. He is also survived by a host of cousins.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 12:30pm-3:00pm.
