Hilda Mary Brannan

Hilda Mary Brannan, age 88, passed away in Hammond, LA on Friday, February 1, 2013. Wife of the late Ira Brannan Sr. Mother of Linda B. Young (Bryant J.) of Hammond, LA and the late Ira Brannan Jr. Sister of the late Henry, Joseph, Edward and George Hauck, Claire H. Starkey and May H. Venus. Daughter of the late Elizabeth Davis Hauck and Henry E. Hauck. Also survived by two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brannan was a retired Master Chief in the United States Navy and served as a Chief Master-at-Arms for various Navy installations.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass from the Metairie home of THARP-SONTHEIMER-THARP, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. at 43rd St., on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow with full military honors in Greenwood Cemetery.
