

Ingram Allen Lee passed away on Sunday April 15, 2012 at the age of 52. He was born in Gadsden, Alabama in August 1959 to Margaret Lee and the late F.E. “Cotton” Lee. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Patricia Thweatt Lee; three sisters, Diane Hale (Mike), Anna Vitari (Bill), Susan McClure (Kevin); a brother, Freddie Lee (Reba); his mother-in-law, Ruby Culberson Sims and two brothers-in-law, Jay Culberson (C.J.) and Lew Culberson. Also survived by his nephews: Ryan Hale (Teri), Blake Hale, Jake Vitari, Braxton McClure, Zayne McClure; nieces: Keri Lonnergan (Ragan), Meghan Gatewood (Tyler), Katie Ragan (Andrew), Nikki Ference, Leanna Vitari, Lauren Vitari and his grandnephews: Kade Hale and Davis Lonnergan.
Preceded in death by his father-in-law, Charles Thweatt, stepfather-in-law, F.M. Culberson; his grandparents: Fred and Goldie Lee and Bart and Louise Morgan and his brother-in-law, David Whatley.
Ingram was a respected member of the oil trading industry for over 30 years and was known for his integrity and his easy going manner. He has earned countless friendships and is credited with helping many people with his business acumen and generosity. He was also a member of the DeGaulle Drive Church of Christ and the Friday Afternoon Gentleman’s Society in Hide-A-Way Lake.
Ingram's favorite times were spent in his beach home or lake home with Pat by his side. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and children of his many friends. He was everybody's favorite "Uncle Pooh".
Ingram also loved good things and collected not only vintage wines but vintage cars. He loved weekends tinkering at the house or watching Nascar. Most of all, he loved New Orleans and the many fine dining establishments that he and Pat frequented. In fact, Ingram loved life. He made things better for all those who knew him and loved him.
Ingram Lee will be long remembered and ever loved.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial service on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 12:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be at a later date in Rainbow Memorial Gardens in Rainbow City, Alabama.
