Isela Casso Lopez

Isela Casso Lopez, age 83, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2010 at 2:41 am. Loving mother of Francisco J. Cassolopez, Elsa Cassolopez and Isela Cronin. Mother-in-law of Merlinda Cassolopez, Juan Rodriguez and Kevin M. Cronin. Grandmother of Gabriela, Shaina, Victoria and Francisco Cassolopez, Jr.; Ivan and Ethan Rodriguez; and Kevin Michael, Dylan and Isabella Cronin. She was a devoted and loving mother. She loved her grandchildren. They loved her so much and she will be greatly missed. On a nice day you could find her working in the yard tending to the flowers and garden. She loved being outdoors. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Her advice was always needed and her opinion always mattered. She also enjoyed attending mass. She spent many hours praying and reading the bible. She was a member of the Catholic Church. A native of Mexico and a resident of Kenner for 15 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until mass time.
