James Odell Laurent passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Linda Bensel Laurent for 35 years. Father of the late Alain Laurent. Step father of Carl Cabal. Son of the late James Laurent and Betty Turner Laurent Alwell. Brother of Margaret Duplantis and Gerald Laurent. Cousin of Shirley Norman. He also leaves behind his best friend Deborah West, his beloved dog Buttons who was his best pal and his nieces and nephews. Mr. Laurent was a driver for Metry Cab Company and was a former employee of Buck Kreihs Company in New Orleans, LA. Mr. Laurent’s family will be having a private visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
