Janice Falco Jeansonne

Janice Falco Jeansonne passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the age of 83 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born on April 19, 1938 and was a lifelong resident of the greater New Orleans area.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Theresa Comberrel Falco and Victor Jacob Falco, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Ted James Jeansonne, her beloved children, Mark James Jeansonne (Paula) and Michelle Jeansonne Turnley MD. (George), and grandchildren, Mark James Jeansonne, Jr., Christopher James Jeansonne, Alexander James Jeansonne, George Edwin Turnley, Jr., William B. Jeansonne Turnley (Cece), Caroline Elizabeth Turnley, and Rebecca Ivy Turnley. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Willis Hackett Turnley and Virginia Beatrice Turnley, and her sisters, Audrey Falco Pasqua and Victoria Falco Wilson.

Janice was a graduate of Redemptorist High School. She loved working as a real estate agent and was a member of the Million Dollar Agent Club. She volunteered at the Second Glance Retail Shop and was a longtime parishioner of St. Clement of Rome Parish. Janice loved life and was a joy to be around. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held of Friday, July 9, 2021 at St. Clement of Rome Church, 4317 Richland Ave. Metairie, LA 70002. Visitation will be held from 10AM – 11AM with a funeral Mass to begin at 11AM.
