Jennifer Erin Hemphill

Jennifer Erin Hemphill, age 40, of Slidell, Louisiana passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Elmer "Butch" H. Hemphill, Jr., and is survived by her loving mother Sandra H. Hemphill, brother Timothy A. Hemphill (Meghana), niece Arthi and nephew Neel Hemphill, and beloved dog Butch, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jennifer was a talented artist with a generous free spirit, a great sense of humor, and a love of animals. She attended St. Ann School in Metairie, graduated from Lutheran High School in Metairie, and attended USM Hattiesburg and Southeastern Louisiana University Hammond. She worked for many years in the hospitality industry at several bars and restaurants in the greater New Orleans area. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Private services will be held for Jennifer. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the Louisiana SPCA.
