Jill Henderson Raphiel

Jill Henderson Raphiel arrived at The Pink Flamingo Lanai in the Sky on October 24, 2010 at the age of 64. Proud mother of Jilliane and Alexandra Raphiel and Turena Tante. Daughter of Shirley Binet Henderson and the late Charles Henderson, Jr. Survived by two sisters, one brother and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Beloved Maw-Maw Jill to several grandchildren and grandanimals. A native New Orleanian, Jill resided in LaPlace for the past 31 years. Jill had a zest for life, loved to entertain and enjoyed good times with loved ones. Services will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation from 8:00am-11:00am. Services at 11:00am with a celebration of life to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Jill be made to the Audubon Nature Institute, 6500 Magazine St., New Orleans, LA 70118.
