JoAnn Eloise Metzger

JoAnn Eloise Metzger, age 78, passed away peacefully at Walden Nursing Home on Saturday, March 31st, 2018. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph C. Metzger Sr., and the late Eloise Barrett Metzger, and beloved niece of the late Carolyn Metzger Seckfort. Beloved sister of David G. Metzger (Ellen), Charlotte Metzger Moore (Ken), Andrew P. Metzger (Marilyn), and the late Joseph C. Metzger Jr. Beloved cousin of Mary Seckfort Shambra (Blaze) and the late Carolyn Seckfort Lusco (Ralph). JoAnn was especially fond of her niece Linda M. Prentice, who took very good care of her. JoAnn had a pure and loving heart and a passion for animals of every shape and size. She spent the best years of her life at Westminster Towers in Kenner, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for JoAnn at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Friday, April 6th from 11:30am-1:00pm with a funeral mass at 1:00pm.
