John Joseph Brennan

Beloved husband of Reneé Mendez Brennan after 63 years of sacred marriage.

Loving father of Mary Anne Reeser (Michael), Maureen Brennan (Steve Abels), Bernadine LeBlanc (Patrick), Michael Brennan, Christine Daigle (Frank), Virginia Vasterling (Ellis) and John Brennan Jr. (Dennise).

Son of the late Anne Walsh and David Brennan.

Preceded in death by 10 siblings and survived by 1 brother & 1 sister, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mr. Brennan was a retired machinist with Kaiser Aluminum after 30 years of service. Former owner of A-Ace- Sewer Service. A parishioner of St. Christopher Catholic Church since 1954. A member of Knights of Columbus Council #4508 and the Holy Name Society. He will always be loved and remembered as Jack, the Irishman.

Aged 94 years, a native of Claremorris, Co. Mayo, Ireland and a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for the past 59 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from St. Christopher the Martyr Catholic Church, 309 Manson Ave. Metairie, on Monday afternoon June 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery #1.

In lieu of flowers, masses preferred or memorial donations may be made to, St. Christopher’s Knights of Columbus or Holy Name Society, 309 Manson Ave. Metairie, Louisiana 70001.
