Johnny Blanchard

Avery “Johnny” Blanchard passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the age of 68. Johnny was the owner of Azalea Grill since 1987 and The Pour House Saloon in Jefferson. Son of the late Avery and Christine Blanchard. He was the father of Joseph “Scott” Blanchard (Michelle) and Julie Blanchard. Stepfather of Becki Laurie (Vincent) and Bernard Perrone, II (Tianna). Grandfather of Britney Blanchard, Justin Blanchard, Matthew Blanchard, Courtney Gibson (Grady) and Christopher Cleveland. Step grandfather of Mia Laurie, Madelyn Laurie, Bosten Perrone, Branson Perrone and Barron Perrone. Former husband of Suzzan Richard Blanchard and Maribeth P. Blanchard.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering at Azalea Grill and The Pour House Saloon, 3501 Jefferson Highway in Jefferson, LA on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Children’s Hospital, 200 Henry Clay Ave., New Orleans, LA 70115 are preferred.
