Joseph-Gregory Gabriel Franklin departed this world on April 30, 2021. To know “Joe” was to love him. Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents; Eldridge E. Franklin, Sr., Wash Mullen, and Mildred Harrison Mullen, his father; Gregory W. Mullen, Sr., uncles; Norman N. Woodward, Jr., Gerald L. Haynes, and aunt; Jocelyn W. Haynes.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Adrian E. Franklin, grandmother; Barbara W. Franklin, siblings; Leander, Jude, Hampton Franklin, Romelle and Gregory W. Mullen, Jr., aunt; Doris A. Brown, uncles; Eldridge (Brenda) Eliot, and Breyten Franklin, his love Theresa M. Armond, beautiful babies; Elijah C. Marshall, Tamia, and King Franklin, nieces; Leah M. Whitlow and Alana M. Franklin, nephew; Leander G. Franklin, Jr., five devoted first cousins; Dionne J. Johns (Christopher), Raymond Brown, Jr., Rochelle B. Wilcox, Tiffeny M. Haynes, and Ernika F. Williams.

A cremation arrangement and private inurnment has been planned at his mother’s request.
