Joyce is preceded in death by parents Edith and Octave Aysien, husband John Andrew, and sister Shirley Matherly. She is survived by her loving family-- sons Andy, Kyle, and Troy Zimmerman; granddaughter Kyla Zimmerman, and daughter-in-law Karen Zimmerman.
A funeral will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Leitz-Eagan Chapel. Joyce will be laid to rest at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie immediately following services.
