Juan Alfonso Martinez

Martinez Juan Alfonso Martinez, age 77, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Touro Infirmary surrounded by his family. He was a native of Santa Ana, El Salvador, and he immigrated to New Orleans in 1969. He became a naturalized citizen and was a resident of Kenner. He worked at Newman School for 28 years making many friends there through his hard work and magnanimous personality. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Zoila Graciela Morales Martinez, son Salvador Martinez (wife Sherry), son George Martinez (wife Jennifer), son Alfonso Martinez (wife Andrea), sister Dora Carrillo (husband Roberto), sister Ana, brother Luis, many nieces and nephews, ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Maxima Isabel Martinez. His wisdom, generosity, humility, and humor will be missed by his many family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA. On Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
