Karl L. Koster, III, age 72, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015. Mr. Koster was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA for 10 years. Beloved husband of Ellen Koster for 30 years. Father of Michelle Koster Blow (husband, Bo), Kevin Koster, Sunni Shafer and Kassi Guerra. Grandfather of Justice Gambino, Joshua Guerra, Kaleigh Koster and Li’Le Anderson. Son of the late Karl L. Koster, Jr. and Virginia Liberto Koster. Mr. Koster was a graduate of Cor Jesu High School and he graduated from New Orleans Barber and Beauty College in 1965. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and the Owner and Operator of American Pool Players Association Franchise. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie on Tuesday evening, May 12, 2015 beginning at 5:30 PM with a memorial service to follow at 7:30 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
