Kathleen C. Lazarone

Kathleen Collins Lazarone, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013. She was a native of New Orleans and longtime resident of River Ridge. She was preceded by death with her parents, the late Evelyn Joly Collins and Thomas Joseph Collins. She graduated from East Jefferson High School on 1959 and a member of Society of P.E.P. Member of River Ridge Garden Club, Master Gardner and she won numerous awards for her flowers and gardens. She loved celebrating New Orleans, travelling the world and spending time with her many lifelong friends.

Survived by her loving husband, Carl E. Lazarone, and was the Loving mother of Lee C Lazarone (Debby) of Beaverton OR., Lynn L. Stachlowski (Dan) of Milwaukie, OR, Carl E. Lazarone Jr. of Harahan LA., and Gina Marie Langlois (Philippe) of River Ridge LA. , and her brother, Thomas J. Collins, II of Slidell, La.

Also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, La. for 11:00 a.m., where friends may call after 9:00 a.m.
