Kenneth Michael Morvant passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the age of 55. He fought a strong battle for the past 6 1/2yrs to stage 4 colon cancer. He was the devoted husband of Tammie Morvant. A loving father of Scott Morvant, Jerry Walden and Kenny Walden. A proud grandfather of Hailey and Gavin Morvant and Sara Beth Walden. Son of the late Eugene and Joyce Morvant Jr. He was also survived by siblings Danny Morvant, Gary Morvant, Jean Morvant Boyer and Daugher-in-law, Robin Morvant. Kenny devoted his life to his family. He worked as a devoted employee of almost 30yrs at Fleming Construction in Kenner, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd Metairie, Louisiana on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Visitation will be from 3-6 and services from 6-7pm.Arrangements under the direction of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, Metairie, LA.
