Leona B. LeBlanc

Leona B. LeBlanc, age 93, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Louis D. LeBlanc, Sr. for 32 years. Loving mother of Glenda L. Ward and stepmother of the late Louis L., Jr., Leroy LeBlanc, Donald LeBlanc and Martha Elaine. Proud grandmother of Donna Luwisch Casey, John Luwisch, Jr., Laurie Luwisch Cardwell. , Louis D. LeBlanc, III, Phillip LeBlanc and the late Michael LeBlanc and Donald Luwisch. Survived by numerous great and great great grandchildren. “Granny” to Diane Perez. Sister of the late George Berry and Gladys Silva.

Leona was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Kenner. She was retired from D.H. Holmes/Dillards after 31 years of employment. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Mrs. Carol Howell and Hospice Associates for all their care and support. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 11:00 am.
