Leroy Artigue, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Rosalie R. Artigue. Loving father of Gerard S. Artigue, Mark J. Artigue, Doris A. Artigue, Stacy J.B. Artigue and the late Gayle A. Artigue. Grandfather of Ashley, Amanda, Grant, Alexandra, Stacy and Triston. Son of the late John and Edvise Artigue. Brother of Theresa, Edmond, Lucille, Mildred, Betty, Harold and Joe. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Leroy was the proud owner of the Artigue Trim Shop for 43 years. A native of Arnaudville he lived in the New Orleans area since 1951 and was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:00 am until time of service. Interment in St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery.
