Lily "Mimi" Clouatre

Lily “Mimi” Brooke Marshall Clouatre, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully at her St. Francis Villa Assisted Living home on December 30, 2013. Lily was retired from T.L. James and Co. where she had over 30 years of service. Lily, who was 86 years old, was born on September 25, 1927 in Glasgow, Scotland. She was a resident of St. Charles Parish for over 20 years. Lily was an active member of the Alfred Bonnabel High School Band Parents Club in the 1970’s and a member of the congregation of the Kenner Presbyterian Church. Lily is survived by two sons; John Louis Clouatre and wife Joy Lynn Smith Clouatre of Kentucky and Martyn Albert Clouatre of River Ridge, LA; her daughter Deborah Clouatre Rome; two grandsons, Paul Marshall Rome and Ryan Thomas Rome; brother-in-laws Sidney Joseph Morales and Norman Barlow and sister-in-law Margaret Mary McAllister. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Earl “Buddy” Clouatre; her parents John Henry Marshall and Janet Gray McTaggart; her brothers Ian Marshall (wife Lillian Patterson) and Albert Edgar Marshall; sister Elizabeth Janet Marshall Barlow; and sister-in-law Estelle Clouatre Morales. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on January 4, 2014. A Funeral Service will follow the visitation on January 4 at 1:00 pm at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA. Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
