Logan Joseph Martin

He was the beloved and loving husband of Lisette Vicknair Martin, and the beloved and loving father, “Papa,” of Brody Logan Martin and Wyatt Logan Martin. He was the beloved and loving and cherished son of Loretta Logan Martin and Edward Joseph Martin, Jr.

He was the beloved and loving brother and brother-in-law of Dr. Edward Joseph Martin, III, and Julie Ehret Martin, Désirée Martin Robards, Nicole Martin Bartlett, and Tad Bartlett. He was the devoted son-in-law of Donald and Deborah Vicknair and brother-in-law of Donnie, Jr. and Kevin Vicknair.

He was also the beloved and loving and caring uncle of Joseph, Royce, and Sarah Martin; Andrée, Ricky, and Nicole Robards; Eli and Max Bartlett; and Josh, Alyssa, Rayanne, and Ava Vicknair. He will also be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Logan loved his God, his family, and his friends so very much. He was a graduate of Jesuit High School and LSU, with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was Director of Public Works in St. Bernard Parish.

Logan was loving, giving, caring, and talented, and so kindly always doing something for others. He loved to cook, he loved life and having fun, and lit up every room he went into. He could do or fix anything, and he loved to sing and to laugh and make everyone else laugh, too. He will be very sadly missed by all.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to Noon at the Chapel of the North American Martyrs on the campus of Jesuit High School on Wednesday, December 29, with Mass at Noon. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie.
