Lois Jean Pruski age 81 passed away after a brief illness on Mon. Oct.28, 2024. Lois was born April 8, 1943 at Mare Island Naval Hospital Vallejo, CA. She was a 1961 graduate of Maryknoll HS in Honolulu. HI. Lois was a graduate of Loyola University and received her Master's Degree in Business from Tulane University.
Lois is preceded in death by her parents Cmdr Leonard and Olive Pruski and her nephew Timothy Shaw.
Lois is survived by her six siblings: Joe Pruski and wife Cyndy, Laurel Pruski Reid, Bob Pruski and wife Pat, Terry Pruski Shaw, John Pruski and wife Rosa,and Malia Pruski Proctor. Lois leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois loved the game of golf and was an avid player in her younger days. She spent countless hours watching tennis. Lois loved European travels. She especially enjoyed the trips she made with her niece Jennifer Pruski Nelson. Lois loved her New Orleans neighborhood and friends. She will be missed.
A private service for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
