Lucille Claire Acheé Spadafora

Lucille Claire Acheé Spadafora passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday evening, December 11, 2015. She was 100 years old. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Spadafora Jr. for over fifty years. Loving mother of David Spadafora (Cass) and Ray Spadafora (Judy). Grandmother of Pamela Beck, Joseph Spadafora III (Rachel), Robyn Eaves (Stanley), Laura Rahman (Sami), and Elizabeth Kupar (Kenneth). Great-grandmother of Jon Robert Beck, Kaitlyn Eaves, Caroline Spadafora, Margaret Spadafora, Noah Rahman, Maya Rahman, and Cecily Kupar. Sister of the late Lena Mae Fonseca, and sister-in-law of Denise Boudreaux, Frances DeBroy (Baptiste), and the late Shirley Messina. Daughter of the late William and Lucille Acheé. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lou was a native of New Orleans, and was a resident of Metairie for over 46 years. She and her late husband were very active in St. Ann Parish. She was a devoted member of the AARP, and loved attending their functions. She was loved by all of her friends, many of whom referred to her as “Granny.” She was an avid bowler, enjoyed trips to the casino, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from ST. ANN CHURCH, 4901 Transcontinental Drive, Metairie, on Tuesday morning, December 15, 2015 at 10:30.
