Mack Henry McNeil III

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elouise Marrero Dokes and Mack Henry McNeil Jr. Left to cherish his memory is his lifetime companion, Aletha Bryant, his children, Melinka Washington, Latesha Johnson (Kevin Johnson Sr.), Arica Bryant, and Renee Bryant, his grandchildren, Quintrel Thomas, Jaylen Thomas, Jade Robinson, Layla McCleveland, and Kevin Johnson Jr. He is also survived by his siblings, Dale Dokes and Janet Muhammad (Wali Muhammad Sr.), niece, Siebra Muhammad, nephew, Wali Muhammad Jr., and a host of other family and friends.

Mack loved attending every second line Sunday, riding his scooter, and dancing. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and for never being caught without his sunglasses on.

A celebration of Mack’s life will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 11AM-1PM with a service to begin at 1PM.
