Margaret Fonseca

Margaret Graf Fonseca entered peacefully into heaven on Sunday, December 2, 2012. Devoted wife of Michael Fonseca of 31 years. Loving mother of Michelle and Sean Fonseca. Proud grandmother of Coedy Fonseca and Brianna Fonseca. Step daughter of Beatrice Graf and daughter of the late Alma Lezina Graf and Philip Graf. Sister of Aileen Smith, Jeannette Cosse, Paulette Graf and Doryk Graf. Step sister of Rose Gaduria. Also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and her good friend, Corey Lenzo.

Margaret worked for JP Environmental Department and enjoyed her work. She enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking for all, attending games that her husband, children and grandchildren played and was a lifelong supporter of Little Farms Playground. She was a member of the former Sirens Dive Club.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until funeral time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made at any Whitney Bank branch under Margaret Fonseca’s Memorial Fund. Funds will be used to continue Margaret’s future support to benefit her grandchildren’s future athletic expenses.
