Marie Hubbell Frilot

Marie was the beloved mother of Scott Frilot and Mark Frilot and mother-in-law to Kelly Guerin Frilot and Heaven Lapeyrouse Frilot. Nothing brought her more joy than her grandchildren, Joan Frilot and Ethan Frilot, who were the light of her life and whom she cherished beyond measure.

She was married to the love of her life, Barry Frilot, until his passing on August 28, 2021. Their partnership remained a source of strength and comfort to her throughout her life.

Marie is survived by her brother, James Hubbell; brother-in-law, Danny Keyes; her sisters‑in‑law, Dorothy Wilder Frilot, Ann Frilot Keyes, Rose Hubbell, and Cheryl Hubbell, and countless nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip Hubbell and Cecile Laiche Hubbell; her brothers, Philip, Gerald, and Charles Hubbell; her sister, Cecile Hubbell Blanchard; her father-in-law, Benny Frilot; her sisters‑in‑law, Ersalene Hubbell, Mickey Hubbell, Geraldine Hubbell, Judy Hubbell, and Irma Lee Exnicios; and her brothers‑in‑law, Allen Blanchard, Hugh Exnicios, Clif Frilot, and Robert Frilot.

Her family and friends will carry her memory in their hearts always.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana 70006 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 24, 2026, preceded by visitation from 9:00 a.m. until services begin. Marie’s final resting place will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, Louisiana.
