Marie Johnson

Marie Johnson passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 at the age of 91. Marie was born to Joseph Cormier and Elise Menard Credeur in Rayne, LA. She was one of eleven siblings. Marie was preceded in death by her devoted loving husband, Herbert Joseph “Dick” Johnson, Sr. She is survived by her children, Brenda Johnson Richard (Tommy), Julie Johnson, and Herbert Johnson, Jr.; grandchildren, April Richard Gaude (Bryan), Tammy Richard Drumm (Darren), Dustin Johnson and Jenna Johnson; great grandchildren, Jacob Drumm and Travis Gaude. She was a loving, wonderful mother and grandmother who enjoyed time with her family. She helped numerous people in her lifetime and she will be forever missed. She volunteered as a Register/Correspondence Chairperson for St. Jude Society in Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Saturday, March 23, 2024, beginning at 11 a.m. with Funeral Mass to follow at 1 p.m. in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s Chapel.
