Marilyn Fischer Kelly passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the age of 76. Born and raised in New Orleans, at the time of her death she was a resident of River Ridge. She was the beloved wife of the late Everette Surratt Kelly for 33 years. She is also survived by her sister, Charlotte Fischer Hoormann (Cyril), niece Rachel Hoormann, nephew Daniel Hoormann (Lisa), and three great-nieces, Ella, Kate, and Isabelle Hoormann. She was predeceased by her parents, August and Pauline Clement Fischer. Marilyn was a graduate of Mercy Academy and Loyola University. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation and Catholic Prayer Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, at which time the Catholic Prayer Service will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in St. Rose, Louisiana.
