Marjorie Thelma Bauer

Marjorie Cervini Bauer, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Beloved wife of 67 years to the late Frank I. Bauer, Sr. Loving mother of Cheryl Bauer Ermon (husband, Ivy “Robear”) and the late Frank I. Bauer, Jr. Grandmother of Veronica Bauer Brack and Vanessa Bauer. Great grandmother of Julianna Eva Bolivar and Luke Frank Bauer. Daughter of the late John G. Cervini, Sr. and Christianne Chavanne Cervini. Sister of John G. Cervini, Jr. Sister-in-law of Raymond C. Bauer. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bauer was a wonderful wife and mother and was very devoted to her family. She was a very selfless, loving and generous person and had a beautiful smile that would light up the room. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 4640 Canal Street in New Orleans, LA on Wednesday afternoon, July 19, 2017 beginning at 1:30 PM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 3:00 PM. Graveside service and interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery on Thursday afternoon, July 20, 2017 at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, Masses may be offered or memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
