Mary DiBonaventure DiGerolamo

On Saturday, September 23, 2017, after a brief illness, Mary passed away surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born November 14, 1950 in Bridgeport, PA to John and Viola DiBonaventure. Mary was an avid golfer and bridge player. She was an active parishioner of Divine Mercy Catholic Church and devoted many hours praying in the adoration chapel. She was a resident of Kenner for the past 32 years. Mary is survived by her husband, Nicholas DiGerolamo, Sr., stepchildren Nicolle DiGerolamo Thaller (Timothy), Dr. Nicholas DiGerolamo, Jr., brother Dr. John DiBonaventure, sisters Gloria DiFilippo (Don), and Joanne DiBonaventure. Mary is also survived by grandchildren Alexander Thaller, Anastasia Thaller, Teresa DiGerolamo, Kolbey DiGerolamo, and Nicholas DiGerolamo, III, nieces Debbie Angelillis (Michael), Gabrielle DiBonaventure and nephews David DiFilippo (Valerie) and John DiBonaventure, III, great niece Taylor Angelillis, and great nephew Justin DiFilippo. Mary was predeceased by her parents and an older sister. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Divine Mercy Church, 4337 Sal Lentini Pkwy., in Kenner, LA on Friday, September 29, 2017 beginning at 10:00 AM with a Memorial Mass to follow at 12:00 noon.
