Mary Venezia LaBruzzo

Mary Venezia LaBruzzo passed away on Tuesday morning, March 29, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was 92 years old. Beloved wife of the late Louis John LaBruzzo for 54 years. Loving mother of Gail LaBruzzo Lavie (the late Arthur J. Lavie IV) and Cynthia LaBruzzo Baggett. Grandmother of Michelle Lavie Brewer (Willis), Louis John Lavie, Lori Leigh Baggett, Ashley Baggett Rios (Nick), and the late Arthur J. Lavie V. Great-grandmother of four. Daughter of the late Leona Caracci Venezia and Philip Venezia. Sister of the late JoAnn Murphy, Martin Venezia, Thomas Venezia, John Venezia, Joseph Venezia, Angie Dowd, and Philip Venezia. Sister-in-law of Gloria Venezia, Mary LaBruzzo Friedman, and John R. LaBruzzo. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Her family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to Fresenius Dialysis Unit in Kenner. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from ST. ANN, 3601 Transcontinental Drive, Metairie, on Friday afternoon, April 1, 2016 at 1:00. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 10:30 until 12:30 at Leitz-Eagan, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park, New Orleans.
