Mary Boone Landry Mithoff, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 2017. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 12, 1929. Mary graduated from Louise S. McGehee and received a B.A. Degree from Newcomb College. She was the beloved wife of Oliver Millard Mithoff since December 5, 1964. Mary worked as a Librarian with the Jefferson Parish School System. She is preceded in death by her parents, the late Maurice Francis Landry and Mary Gladys Boone, both of who were from Mobile, Alabama; sisters, Marie Landry Crassons, Ethel Landry, and Harriet Dolan. Survived by, her devoted husband, Oliver Millard Mithoff; her nieces, Clydia Hebert and Margaret Landry; her nephews, Kevin Dolan and Norman Crassons. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, Louisiana.
