I’m so very glad to have known a great and special man as you, Michael! I will cherish all the good  and fun times shared with you and the family. May you rest in the peace you deserve as you live on in so many of our hearts 💕.

I’ve been avoiding doing these kinds of things that force me to say goodbye because i’m not ready. I will never be ready to let you go. But i realize you deserve to rest. To rest the hands that worked every single day to take care of your family. But i won’t stop looking for you. I’ll look for you in the crowd at my graduation. And when i get married and when i have kids. And i’m not even sure what those crowds will look like with you not in them. But for now I’ll keep listening to your songs, to feel just a little closer to you. I’ll keep singing in the car with the windows down, pretending your next to me. I’ll keep hearing you in my head telling me you love me.

We’ll miss you. Michael....your voice, your laugh, your gentle spirit. I’ll miss seeing you at my daughter’s games. Thanks for the support. I have a million and one memories that make me tear up and giggle, and it’s still not enough. I wish we could have had a million more, and I’m devastated that we won’t. I remember you bouncing me on your knee “riding that horse” and you telling me that my real name was Christian Marie MCKENDALL Morrell. And would tickle me if I said “no it’s not PawPaw”. I remember driving down Gentilly in that gold F-150 and you teaching me to drive. I remember your face beaming with pride at my graduations and my wedding. I will miss your laugh and your 5 minute calls that turned into 45 minute sermons. You were always right; even when I didn’t want to admit it. Thank you for every tickle, every bit of advice, every sermon, every debate, and every hug. I love you. Forever and always. And I will make sure that your boo-boo Cora knows the love you had for her too :) I miss you now and forever.

I have nothing but happy memories and lots of laughter when we got together. We always smiled in each other's presence and that is something I will miss but always remember.

I will never forget the stories he would tell us of him and his cousins. He shared a lot of stories and was always very giving. Prayers and condolences to the family. He will be missed.  Rest in Peace, Heaven gained another Angel.

I remember this hug. It was my wedding day. Through the tears in your eyes you smiled at me and told me you were proud. " Dawn! Baby!! Im proud of you"  We danced that night, we laughed and had a ball.  I cant believe that it was almost 10  years ago. I can't believe that we can't laugh together. I can't belive that I can't call you at 6 in the morning because nobody else is up.  " Daddy, are you up?" " Yeah Im up!! Dawn!! I wake up the chickens up!"
The last words that I spoke to you, I was leaving for Cincinnati, and I stopped in to see you. We talked for a while, I hugged you, kissed you and said I'd see you when I got back. You must have known something because you called me back and told me" Dawn, I love you".          
I love you too Daddy. 
I'll love you forever and miss you even longer.

Micheal we were a close family. We were more like brothers than cousins. A lot of years have come and gone since I first left my home in New Orleans. I remember all the fun we had growing up. The parties and our football team, "The 1/2 G's". The group of us were more like family than just friends. I can honestly say I have always seen the beautiful person you always were. It was such a joy seeing you at our family reunion this year. You were keeping everyone smiling as you made some comments to your daughter, Dawn. My friend, my cousin and my brother, Thank You for making this world a much better place. Rest in peace. Love you man. 

R.I.P. Grady. You will be missed but not forgotten. You was one he'll of a man, took time to teach apprentices on the job . Prayers for family and friends.
