Mildred Frances Gauthreaux passed away on July 26, 2024 at the age of 97. She was born on January 22, 1927 and was the beloved daughter of the late Ella Dugas Gauthreaux and Hoid Gauthreaux. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Roy and Milton Gauthreaux. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA where she resided with her beloved friend, Madeline Boudin, for over 70 years. Mrs. Gauthreaux worked for the Federal Government for many years before retiring.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM at St. Patrick Cemetery No.1, 5000 Canal St. New Orleans, LA
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mildred may be made to one of the numerous charities she supported, such as Catholic Charites, Covenant House, Little Sisters of the Poor, Second Harvest Food Bank, or St. Clement of Rome Church in Metairie.
