My own memories of Aunt Mozelle are very precious to me. When I was young, she flew me to spend the summer with her and the family, where I enjoyed happy times with them all, including a birthday party she had for me and her girls in July. I remember thinking how great it was to have such a big family and I thought she was the best mom! Even when the kids acted up, I never heard her yell at them! She always spoke so softly, and she loved them all so deeply. It was because of her that I myself wanted to have 7 children because she made it look so easy; but after having one, I knew I could never have the patience she had! She was truly a saint! 

Over the years, when I visited, she was always so gracious and loving towards us; and I regret not being able to see her more than I did. Living so far away, I was only kept informed of the going ons in her life through her sisters, phone calls and cards. 

I am thankful for the time I had with her in the hospital. Even then, in her weakest hours, she stilled smiled, and thought of us instead of herself, wanting to get home to make sure that we were taken care of while mom and I where there. That was who she was, always putting others before her herself; always taking care of others. She just wanted everyone to be happy and do well in their lives. Even in her departure, she was gracious, she knew when she was ready, waiting for family to be there. 

Upon a recent visit to NO, I was thankful to visit again at the cememtary, to sit on her bench among the trees and feel close to her. I am confident she is happy where she is now, with her Lord and Saviour. Even though it is difficult for those of us missing her absence, she is where she needs to be. I will miss her; her smile, her soft voice and mannerisms, and I will use her, and my grandmother as my role models on how I should be and act in this life, so that I may see them again in the next one with God.

It has been over 5 months since my beautiful and loving wife was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour. There has not been day that my heart is not saddened to know that I will no longer have her by my side. I will always love her and I talk to her daily.

I am so in awe of your pure strength and beauty.  You led your life with such style and grace, and your heart was big enough for everyone.
I think of you curled up in the chair out on the deck with the squirrels and the birds.  Even they knew you were special.
I feel you with me when a breeze blows through bringing the sweet scent of gardenias. I feel you with me when the birds sing. 
When the sunrays filter through the clouds to reveal such divine magnificence, it will take my breath away because I will be thinking of you.
Though my tears still catch me unexpectedly, the pain in my heart hurts a little less each day. I know you are where you always knew you would be, resting in God's arms now.

Jacques and I wish to express our condolence for the death of Mozelle. we did not connect before due to three deaths in our family and very close friends. 
Mozelle was a beautiful woman, and a very good person. Our souvenir of her is of gentleness and joy.

Mrs. Landry was a wonderful influance in my life and I will miss her greatly. Although I am not a Landry she actually made me feel like one while we were all growing up. She always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. She was an awsome mom and has an awsome family. I am truly blessed to have known her and to have had her in my life from such a young age up. If I were asked if I ever knew a true saint, my first thought would be of my Aunt Mozelle. Life had many blessings for her, it also had difficulties. I never found her to be bitter, uncharitable or anything less than completely loving to everyone she knew or talked about. I KNOW she had a strong relationship with God. I KNOW she prayed - for her family first of all. I KNOW she was aware of her own faults and failures through her life (as few and unobservable as they were) and I KNOW she understood the amazing grace of her God and relied on His forgiveness and power to give her confidence that He accepted her, had a future for her and had miraculous answers to her fondest hopes and prayers. When, my time comes to leave this life and, by His mercies, I get to meet my Creator and Redeemer, there is no one I more fully expect to see and get to celebrate with there than my beautiful Aunt Mozelle.

Many years ago I worked for you Dr. Landry and I remember Miss Mozelle.  She was a very kind and gracious lady.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God bless you.

My Mother Mozelle, 

She was my spiritual guide, my strength.  Every moment with her was special.  She loved god, she loved her family.  She wanted everyone to get along, talk, and be happy.  And because of Mom we were happy.  We had a busy household.  Our friends always commented that with so many children she did a wonderful job of taking care of each and everyone of us including my father.  For that I will always be grateful and totally in awe of her strength and patience.  I do not know another mother that could have handled 7 spirited children with so much grace.  She was a beautiful person, inside and out.  

I will hold the last 50 years of my life with my mother and my family in my heart forever.  

I know she is in a better place, she earned her place in heaven, but I will still miss her everyday.

MY MEME was a good woman.  She had faith in God and she would pray every night with me and talk about Jesus.  She would take me to her loving church and we use to talk every night no matter what.  Our love for each other could never die.  She is in my heart forever and she desires to go to heaven.

I am so happy that I was lucky enough to reach out and let her know I was there with her from the other end of the earth. My heart was heavy and my breath escaped me when I knew that she heard me right before she let go. I love you Mimi, I will miss you so much.

Landry's, you were always a great part of my life growing up and your Mom and Dad always treated me like part of that Wild Bunch on Schouest St.  Your Mom always made me feel at home and I have some great memories from one of my favorite places to hang out when I was young.  Our family's thoughts and prayers go out to you all and I hope I will be able to see you all soon.

Mozelle will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.  She was always warm and gracious--a lovely lady in every sense.  Our condolences to Don and their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

What a truly lovely lady.  May your family find strength in the days to come.  I have many memories of Mozelle from the Turner side of the family.  She was a beautiful and gentle person.  May you find peace in your memories.
