Patricia "Patsy" Batt Firmin

Patricia (Patsy) Batt Firmin, age 76, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025. Born and raised in New Orleans, Patsy was a resident of the West Bank of Jefferson Parish for over 50 years before relocating to Hammond two years ago. She was a graduate of St. Leo the Great Elementary School (1963) and St. Joseph Academy (1967), both in New Orleans. She retired from Jefferson Parish Drainage Department after 23 and a half years of employment.

She is survived by her children, David Firmin (Michele), Rebecca F. Corpora (Anthony), and Allison Firmin. She is the devoted grandmother of Abigail Firmin and Adam Stokes and the great-grandmother of Aubrie Jackson. She is also survived by a sister, Barbara Batt Fox and a brother, Louis Batt, Jr. (Darlene), the father of her three children, Al Firmin, and a host of nieces and nephews. Her family will greatly miss her.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Batt, Sr. and Grace Batt, her sister, Evelyn B. Savarino and her brother-in-law, Timothy Fox, Sr.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am followed by a prayer service in the chapel. Burial will be private in Westlawn Memorial Park.
