Patricia C. Gautier

Patricia (Patsy) Courtney Gautier, age 81, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, the late George A. Courtney, and Ione LeBlanc Munstermann, and a sister, Lorraine C. Uli. She was married to her beloved husband, Austin E. Gautier, Jr., for 63 years. She is survived by her children, Austin J. Gautier (Cassie), and Keri G. McCutchan (Mark). Patsy was the proud grandmother of Sandra C. Gautier (Jon), Braeden A. McCutchan (Emily), Adeline R. Gautier, and Bryce C. McCutchan. She was also the loving aunt to Patrick C. Uli.

Patsy graduated from Martin Behrman High School. She retired from the Jefferson Parish School Board after working many years at Meisler Middle School. She was a lifelong resident of Metairie. Her four grandchildren were her greatest joy in life. She enjoyed spending time with each of them and was so proud of their accomplishments. Patsy faced her recent health challenges with an abundance of strength and courage.

Visitation will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana, on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that Masses be said in Patsy's honor. Entombment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, Louisiana.
