Patricia G. Kampen

Patricia G. Kampen stepped into eternity on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. She was 69 years old. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Robert Kampen, Jr. Daughter of the late Frank and Lydia Guarisco, and daughter-in-law of the late Lawrence and Thelma Kampen; sister of the late Philip Guarisco,Sr.; Loving mother of her two daughters, Mary K. Mooneyham (Dave), Laura Kampen (Rob),and her son, Robert L. Kampen (Salvacion). Also survived by Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Gabrielle, and Trey Mooneyham; Gage, Damian, and Lia Kampen; Kyle, Krista, Stephanie, Carmela and Severino Kampen; niece Jenny G. Gutierrez; Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great granddaughter, and many other family and friends. Pat was a native and lifelong resident of Metairie. She was a devout Catholic, attended St. Benilde, and was a true believer of the Blessed Virgin. Pat had a genuine love of life and family and will be greatly missed by all. Family and friends would never leave her home without a hug, kiss and being told, “I love you”. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Celebration of her life at LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 4747 Veterans Boulevard, Metairie on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 beginning at 11:00 in the morning and Mass of Christian Faith at 12:30 PM.
