Paulette Fogarty Salassi

Born in New Orleans, raised in the Irish Channel and was a lifelong resident of Jefferson Parish, except for 2 years in Germany while Paul served in the Army. The devoted wife of Paul Joseph Salassi for 57 years. Loving mother of two daughters, Amy Goodlett and Brooke Salassi Mouchon (Jay). Devoted Grandma of Noah (Mackenzie), Brady, Ethan, Evan and Ayvie. Loving sister of Danell Barrett (John), Lisa Kirsch (David) and her late brother Daniel A. Fogarty III. Aunt of Kenny, J.R., Megan, Henry, Michael (Olivia). Great-aunt of Cameron, Landen, Jaxon. Great-great aunt of “little” Olivia and Sister-in-law to Beverly Jane Salassi. Paulette was a graduate of Redemptorist High School (1965).

She was a member of Clio Sportsmen League, the 11th Ward Ladies’ Social Club. She enjoyed playing Po-Ke-No with friends, camping, and cruising the Caribbean.

She will be deeply missed by her family and those whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral visitation held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006 on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, from 11:30 am till 1:00 pm.
