Philip Barone II

Philip Barone II passed away in his home on Monday afternoon, May 23, 2016. He was 64 years old. Loving son of the late John and Antoinette Barone. Brother of John Barone Jr. (Cheryl), Joann Diettel (the late Leland), Ann Mehrtens (Alvin), Pam Barone, and the late Barbara Barone Junda (Sammy). He was a very loving uncle of 13, great-uncle of 24, and great-great uncle of 2. Also survived by his dear friends Anthony, Dave, Kevin, Steve, and many others. Phil was a native of New Orleans, and has been a resident of Kenner for over 20 years. He graduated from Warren Easton High School and has worked as a Land Surveyor S.Z.S. Consultants, Inc. for approximately 30 years. Phil was an avid photographer, fisherman, hunter, and Saints and LSU fan, but he most of all loved his family. He was devoted to being an influential part of his nieces and nephews’ lives, and was present for many weekends of their childhood. He was a true gentleman who never had an enemy, and will be greatly missed by all. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass from OUR LADY OF DIVINE PROVIDENCE, 1000 North Starrett Road, Metairie, on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 12:00 noon.
